What is The Seal Company's delivery time?
For standard orders of bespoke or branded seals, delivery is typically 2–3 working days, with smaller orders often arriving within 24 hours. Non-stock profiles have a lead time of 7–10 working days.
If you need an urgent delivery, we may be able to arrange a morning or Saturday delivery for an extra fee, just get in touch with our team to discuss.

How do I get a price quote?
The quickest way is to use our Identify, Measure & Replace guide to find your seal and measurements, once you have those, you can enter the details directly on the product page to get an instant price.
Alternatively, you can send us a photo of your seal via our Seal Photo ID page and our team will identify it and come back to you with a quote.

Can I send The Seal Company a sample gasket/seal?
Rather than sending us a physical sample, a clear photo works just as well and saves you the postage. Simply send us an image of your seal along with its measurements and we'll be happy to help identify the right profile for you. See our guide on how to measure your gasket/seal.
Are The Seal Company able to send me a sample?
We are more than happy to send you a sample. Usually we ask for a photo of the cross section first, we can then decide which profiles are similar and then send you one to try free of charge. Can I send The Seal Company a photo?
Yes, you can, but we do need it to show the cross section of the gasket/seal as any other view/angle would be inconclusive. Your can upload the information we require using the seal photo ID page. Alternatively, please send your photos to: sales@thesealcompany.co.uk or WhatsApp: 07379995088.
How do I measure my fridge or freezer gasket/seal?
There are two ways to measure your gasket/seal:
From the outside edges - measure the full height and width of the seal from the outermost edges.
From the dart centres - if your seal has a dart fixing, measure between the centre points of the darts rather than the outer edges.
You'll need both the height and width measurements to find the right replacement. Once you have them, you can use those sizes to identify and order the correct profile from us.

How can I identify my fridge or freezer gasket/seal?
To identify your seal you'll need to look at its cross-section; the easiest way to do this is to cut a small piece from a corner of your existing seal and look at the shape of the profile. The two most common types are:
Dart profile - has a protruding "dart" or pin that pushes into a channel in the door frame.
Flap/lip profile - fits by folding over or tucking behind a lip on the door frame, usually held in place by screws.

Can The Seal Company ship anywhere?
Yes, we ship our products all over the world and will always source the most secure and cost-efficient method of shipment. We can also package items for you to arrange collection from our Barnstaple premises if you prefer.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs vary depending on your location and order size. For example, standard UK mainland delivery starts at £12.00 + VAT, with rates for other regions such as the Highlands, Northern Ireland and Ireland also available.

Does The Seal Company supply gaskets/seals to anyone?
We specialise in commercial refrigeration seals and supply both trade and end users. That said, we can often help with domestic units too, explore our branded or bespoke seals, or get in touch and we'll do our best to help.
What if I receive the wrong profile?
In the very unlikely event that you receive the wrong profile for your fridge or freezer we will:
Make sure we haven't sent you a different profile from the one you ordered. If we have, we will re-make it in the correct one and send it out to you free of charge.
If it is yourself that has chosen the wrong profile then we can establish the correct one and re-make it, but you will be liable for the cost of re-making. We are confident that our system of identification etc. will make this a very unlikely occurrence. Please refer to Don't know your Make and Model.
What if the gasket/seal is the wrong size?
In the very unlikely event that you receive the wrong size gasket/seal for your fridge or freezer we will:
Make sure we haven't sent you a different size from the one you ordered. If we have we will arrange collection and immediately re-make to the sizes supplied.
If it is yourself that has mistaken the measurements then we can:
If the measurements are too large by at least 3cm on both the width and height, then you can send the item back to The Seal Company and we can re-work. There will be costs both in the carriage and the re-work, but they will be kept to a minimum. Please call our customer services team on 01379 788221, or e-mail sales@thesealcompany.co.uk for details.
If the measurements are too small then regrettably we will need to charge you the full cost of re-making.
What if the gasket/seal arrives with creases?
If the gaskets are larger than the box, then they need to be folded. Whilst we take every care to minimise this, wrinkles they are inevitable in many cases.
Take the gasket/seal out of the box and lay it out flat in a room at ambient temperature, after a couple of hours the wrinkles should disappear. If they don't, you can gently warm the wrinkled areas with a hairdryer (try not to hold the dryer too close to the gasket/seal). Please refer to How to achieve the perfect seal.
